Cheese, new weapons to opponents of cancer cells-Cheese, foods derived from the fermentation of fresh milk has provided many health-related reviews. This time the researchers added a list of new benefits of this delicious food for our health. According to a new study published in the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy shows the benefits of cheese against 30 types of cancer.

Launch of medicaldaily.com, a study conducted by researchers from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry associate it with a natural preservative in cheese called sisin. This is a colorless and tasteless powder which is usually grown in both types of cheese brie, camembert and cheddar and also on some other dairy products.

A previous study of nisin related pernal also performed. The study suggests that nisin in high amounts to give a positive effect on oral health. The researchers measured the quantity of food with a range of 0.25 to 37.4 mg. Continuing on these findings, a recent study using a dose of 800 mg of pure nisin in the form of a milkshake. Milkshake is then tested in mice with tumors of the neck.

After nine weeks, nisin treatment was able to kill about 70-80 per cent of cancer cells. the researchers also found that nisin also helps fight bacteria MRSA. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium that causes dangerous infections and even caused death.

The researchers revealed that until now no bacteria in animals or humans that resistance to nisin. This means that nisin could be tested as a type of treatment. These findings support the potential use of nisin to treat antibiotic resistance, periodontal disease and cancer.

Nisin works with one or two shots, bind bacteria and antibiotic resistance work before having a chance to act. Bacterial antibiotic resistance can be quite difficult to treat. Nisin in this work menghanscurkan bacterial colonies that work together to stop the antibiotics. And if humans are given in the form of a milkshake, it will provide benefits 20-fold compared to nisin found in cheese.

Unfortunately, this study was tested on mice. So, it is still too early to ascertain nisin work the same way in humans.
